History: The Alley Cats car club is local to the Sacramento area. It started in 2009 by family members to honor the passing of their loved patriarch, Clyde Leroy Brown. Clyde was a trucker who used the CB handle, “Alley Cat.” Son Clyde Henry Brown and grandson Jake Bryant started the club in 2009 along with friend Corey Bolen after a brief stint in a different car club.

Heart and Soul: The Alley Cats is a loosely traditional car club, with many of the members’ rides being pre-1964 American cars. The club is family oriented and hard working. Some of the cars have been hand-built by Clyde, Jake, Jerry, and Corey in their home garages. Jerry’s garage has had many vehicles painted inside it, including hot rods, muscle cars, and even four-wheel drive trucks.
